08651: Heart of a Lion Class 2 SESSIONS
Heart of a Lion Class is on two Thursdays. 2 SESSIONS
Your pattern will include the paper pieces, marked in color.
Please bring a glue stick with you.
In the first session, we will be cutting, glueing (tiling) and preparing our paper-pieces to prepare for the piecing.
Your class includes the solid fabrics for the quilt top, mostly Bella Solids, for a vivid color visual.
We will sew our first piece/s together in the class.
Between the first and second session, you will do a lot of piecing at home.
In the second session, we will continue piecing, and do a show and tell as our units get sewn together.
This is a fun class, and my favorite part is seeing the eyes come to life!

Foundation Paper-Piecing Technique
Materials Included:
Pattern, Full Fabric Kit for Quilt Top
Requirements:
BYOM (Bring your own sewing machine), Rotary Cutter, Mini Cutting mat, Add-a-Quarter Ruler, Glue Stick, and thread to blend in with most of the colors (I used burgundy). Starching is optional, but sure works better when it comes to stopping fraying and stretching of the fabric. If you prefer to starch your fabric, you're welcome to come and pick up your kit in advance, to get your fabrics starched. We sell Best Press in the shop , if you don't have any.
