YOU WILL NEED 7 PANELS
Use 6 of your 7 of your favorite panels to create a wonderful Hexie effect. This technique shows off the colors in your center panel, as your hexies will be cut out from your extra 6 panels - a great way to keep with the color coordinates.
Class includes a 60 degree triangle template.
In the completed Bed Runner picture, the bottom section of our Snowy Days panel below was used:

Enhance your cutting and piecing skills with this adorable technique, converting 6 of your 7 panels into hexies. Your first panel will be the central focus panel, and the other 6 will be cut into Hexies, using your 60 degree triangle template included in the class. You can make a Bed Runner, Baby Quilt, Throw, Wallhanging ,... the choices are endless.
Requirements:
PLEASE BUY YOUR 7 PANELS BEFORE THE CLASS (you will need to STARCH them at home first). For 20% DISCOUNT off your panel fabric from Coastal Stitches, mention to us at the counter that you've signed up for the class, so that you can take advantage of this discount. Your template will be given to you in the first session. Please bring: - Rotating Cutting Mat, Flowerhead Pins, Long Cutting Ruler (e.g. 24" Ruler). BYOM (Bring your own sewing machine), small scissors, matching thread for Bobbin and Top, and Rotary Cutter.
